kanokon 11: everything about this show sucks

Damn straight.

…Except Nozomu.

The awfulness of this series never ceases to amaze me. How Xebec managed to sneak a character as indescribably epic as Nozomu into this shitfest will forever be a mystery. She deserves a better show.

Walk the walk.
Walk the walk.

There’s really not much to say about this episode. It’s typical Kanokon fare: obligatory beach episode, plenty of lame cliches, entirely predictable character interactions, and a few awesome Nozomu moments.

Fore.
Nozomu Dive 2.0

It’s almost as if the halfway decent ED is an apology for the preceding 22 minutes of fail. Sigh. Just… have some more Nozomu.

She knows what's up.
Yes. Yes, he does.

It's BACON!

Rika had finally snapped. The repeated days of June had finally driven her mad. She could no longer take the repeats upon repeats of everyday Hinamizawa life. Be it club activites or murders.

“This chair! This chair is the reason why I can’t be happy! It always kills my friends! It always kills me! Why!? THIS DAMN CHAIR! DIE! DIE!! DIE!!!”

“R…Rika-chan! Please stop! The chair didn’t do anything wrong…” Rena tried to explain, attempting to calm the enraged Rika.

But Rena was ignored. Rika continued her assault on the inanimate object on which she blamed the problems she had encountered. Soon, a crowd formed around the clump of desks that belonged to Keiichi, Mion, Rena, Rika, and Satoko, where the scene took place.

Satoko tried to intervene as well, to no avail: “Rika! Please stop! Let’s go home for the day! You need to rest!”

“Shut up, you whiny little bitch! I’m so tired of hearing your voice! If I kill this chair, then everything will be fine! I won’t have to suffer through this horrible June anymore! If I just kill this chair… THIS CHAIR!”

Chie-sensei then attempted to stop her student, “Rika-chan! Please calm down!” However, to everyone’s surprise, Rika struck her teacher. “Shut up! You don’t know what this chair has done to me! And for god’s sake, I KNOW HOW TO MULTIPLY!”

Next, Keiichi came in from his talk with Oishi. “What’s going on here? Rika-chan!”

Rika froze. “You…you spoke with Oishi? NO! DAMN IT! IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!” She grabbed the chair and broke the window with it, almost as if this were a movie. Then, she jumped out.

Rika continued to throw the chair about on the grass. Throwing it, going to it, picking it up, and throwing it again. What was about to happen would be imprinted in everyone’s memory for the rest of their lives.

Oishi drove by, leaving the school, his talk completed. He stopped, rolled down his window, saying “What are you doing? You’d better come with me.” Rika stared at him and said “No… It’s okay… I had Reese’s for breakfast.” “What!? A girl your age shouldn’t eat candy for breakfast!” he replied. “NOT CANDY! REESE’S PUFFS CEREAL!” she screamed, then ran onto the road, and was hit by a passing truck.

    Disgusting.

The concept of blogrolling is just one of the many self-congratulatory circle jerk faggotries perpetuated by the shit-for-brains anime blogging community that I refuse to conform to. When I link to another blog, I do so because I find it interesting, and I call it a “link” because that’s what it is.

What goes around might come around in your perfect little fairy tale fangirl world, but this blog right here is a great big wall of jackass that eats karma for breakfast and shits the remains all over your cute pink ponies and mysterious bishounen.

    *wink wink*

    @nunka:

Also, it’s not right for you to go ahead and insult people and call them jerks and label this behavior as “disgusting.” Sometimes, it’s best to just keep some things to yourself, and all you could have honestly told me was “no, sorry, what goes around doesn’t always come around,” or “i don’t find your blog interesting enough,” and I probably would’ve accepted that already. But then you go ahead and judge me already by something I’ve said. So I’m sorry if I offended you by saying what I did, but I only meant it as a friendly gesture.
